Dr Roger Bell - Vascular Surgeon
Dr Roger Bell is a Vascular and Transplantation Surgeon with over 30 years’ specialist experience. Offering state of the art and professional care for an entire range of vascular conditions, including arterial and venous disorders, he is a leader in the management of facial blushing and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), in particular sweaty hands.
Sweaty hands (Palmar Hyperhidrosis) involves constant or excessive sweating of the palms. Wet or slippery hands are a source of discomfort and embarrassment for the sufferer both socially and in the work environment. Sweaty hands can lead to avoiding simple activities such as shaking hands or embracing someone. It can also interfere with writing and gripping everyday items as well as impeding sporting activities. Some sufferers need to use a hand towel to keep the steering wheel of their car dry, which can be very frustrating.
