Dr Sean McGrath
Dr Sean McGrath is originally from the countryside of New South Wales, and prior to pursuing his career as a doctor, he worked as a Pharmacist. He relocated to Victoria for his medical studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Monash University in 2015. Sean went on to work in various departments at Bendigo Health, including General Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Cardiology. Dr McGrath also holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCH), has undertaken advanced training in Aged Care and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr McGrath started in General Practice in 2019 and finds it a huge privilege to help his patients optimise their health through all stages of life. He is experienced in all areas of General Practice and has a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine, Palliative Care, Chronic Disease Management, Preventative Health, Paediatrics, Men’s Health, Travel Medicine and Aged Care.
In his spare time, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, long-distance running, bushwalks and reading.
