Dr Colin Sherlock

Dr Colin Sherlock is a dedicated General Practitioner originally from Dublin, Ireland. He graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2020 and completed his intern year in hospitals across Ireland before relocating to Australia in 2021. Since then, he has gained broad clinical experience working in multiple medical specialties in Melbourne hospitals, as well as in General Practice in Bendigo and Castlemaine. He is now excited to join Gisborne Medical Centre and looks forward to providing care to the local community.

Dr Sherlock has experience across a wide range of medical areas but has particular interests in mental health, men’s health, and chronic disease management. He also works with Headspace in Bendigo, with a focus on adolescent and young adult mental health, supporting young people to achieve their best possible outcomes.

Outside of work, Dr Sherlock enjoys staying active through running, cycling, and spending time outdoors. He also likes to unwind by playing guitar or video games, balancing his professional life with hobbies that keep him refreshed and engaged.
